THE SCREAM Canvas Shirt

The Idea Behind the Look

Using a COPIC marker illustration, Portrait #4, from a self-portrait series completed in 2020-2021, EDEN depicts the infliction of manipulation all over the body. The collection of portraits tell a personal story about sexual assault, a journey through unwanted touch to empowerment.

THE SCREAM Canvas Shirt acts as a foot in the door to experimentation with digital design. The garment was patterned, cut and engraved using Adobe Illustrator and a Helix Laser Engraver Cutting Machine.

Made from 100% cotton canvas, and finished with gold polyester ribbon and bronze grommets.
